A saying attributed to the Chinese philosopher Confucius: "It is better to light a single candle, than to sit and curse the darkness", was the inspiration behind the RI theme for 2014-15 under the Presidency of Gary C.K. Huang.
Another Rotary candle was lit on Wednesday, April 11th, with the induction of Fiona Hartnett into the Rotary Club of Alice Springs.
