Rotary volunteers helped out at the National Road Transport Hall of Fame (and Ghan Museum) Open Day.
It was a very fun day for families. It was a hot sunny day, but the grounds are really well shaded and pleasantly cool, making it very easy to spend and enjoy a whole day there.

An unxpected surprise was President Virginia Loy was awarded Central Australian of the Year (can we call her CAOTY?). Congratulations and well-deserved.

Train Driver Gary drove 500 children and adults (some on multiple rides) around the track, which circumnavigates the grounds of the Road Transport Hall of Fame.

Congratulations to President Virginia.
